Ashley Judd was one "The View" the other day (July 20, 2007 episode) and someone asked her if she was afraid of aging. She said she learnt from Salma (Hayek) to regard it like they do in the romance languages. In English we say, I am 39. In spanish they say:

I have 39 years.

She thinks of it as having 39 years of experience and wisdom. She has 39 yrs so far in this wonderful journey we call life.

I really like that way of thinking about it.
