I was out tonight hanging at a place I hadn't been to in awhile (Pastis to you who have been to NYC's meatpacking district or who have seen Sex and the City). I was having a good time when two guys came up and talked to me. I chatted with them. They seemed nice although not my type but I chatted because they were nice.

Suddenly one of them said something I could not believe. We were talking about the world cup and Germany. He was half German and half Italian (imagine Italian in NYC...lol.) When
he said to me "The German's were right in what they did to the Jews".
I said "What do you mean (cause lord knows I didn't want it to be what I thought he was implying)"?
He said "The Jews are the cause of all the problems in the world and the German's were right to try to get rid of them." !!!

Yes boys and girls my mouth was hanging open. I was like "WHAT :O"
Who says this stuff in this day and age? Maybe I should have some respect for him because he was being honest but I'm sorry I have no respect for people who are bigots. When I am confronted with bigotry (and being a person of color) which I am ALOT, I'm still flabbergasted by it. This guy was born and raised here
in the states who thinks this way. Anyone can help me here. Why would someone think this way????
