Jon Stewart had on his show, The Daily Show, Bolivia's President Evo Morales. I was very impressed by him. He is the country's first indigenous head of state since the Spanish Conquest over 470 years ago (thanks Wikipedia).

Mr. Morales was very eloquent. He stated that he believes that this is the millennium to save lives and to save human kind. He also is a man of his word. He made promises before he was elected such as to divide the land ownership so that instead of being in the hands of a few (ie rich) it would be in the hands of many. He fulfilled this promise and others within 8 months of his election! He was also funny. He made a joke that he is not part of "the axis of evil".....LOL

Here is a man that was a poor farmer with no high school education who rose to be the leader of his country. While our leader is from a rich family and had a very good education. It goes to show an advanced education and a privileged family don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing. And by swing I mean intelligence and aptitude to be a leader.
